The club is part of the ultra-lightweight TSR1 family, with non-essential weight stripped from the head to the grip to ensure the lightest possible build without sacrificing performance, which helps players generate faster clubhead and ball speeds.

This hybrid features a larger, more "wood-like" head profile compared to other hybrids in the Titleist line-up, a design choice intended to inspire confidence at address and offer substantial forgiveness. The centre of gravity is positioned deeply within the clubhead, a design element that raises the moment of inertia (MOI) and helps to maximize high launch and ball speed, making it easier for players to get the ball airborne from various lies, including the fairway or light rough.
