The Titleist GT2 driver is engineered for golfers seeking a high-performance club that delivers a blend of speed and maximum forgiveness on both centered and off-center strikes. It features a new seamless thermoform crown constructed from an ultra-lightweight proprietary matrix polymer, which allows engineers to redistribute weight to optimal locations for increased stability and a higher moment of inertia. This design is supported by split mass construction, positioning weight both low and forward to boost ball speed while maintaining a stable, high-launch, and low-spin profile. To ensure consistent distance, the club incorporates an upgraded titanium speed ring that stabilizes the face perimeter and variable face thickness technology to preserve speed across the entire impact zone. The overall shaping is more aerodynamic with a refined, traditional pear-shaped profile that is longer from front to back, intended to inspire confidence at address while reducing drag for faster clubhead speeds.
